# Groups of users

It is used to create/edit/delete groups of users who, according to the configuration, can use assigned readers.*1 All new groups must have a parent group, so at least the Basic group.

Note

*1 If you do not assign other readers to the user.

Warning

Groups inherit readers from their parent group.

Example

In case we have groups:

Groups of users

  1. Basic - a group to which no reader is assigned. (Because subgroups inherit the parent's readers)

Groups of users - Basic

  1. Directorate - a group that contains all readers

Groups of users - Directorate

  1. Regular employee - a group that contains only some reader

Groups of users - Regular employee

Thus, John Director who has set that his templates belong to the Directorate group, will have all readers automatically assigned to him. And a regular employee Michael Regular who is in the group Regular Employee will have only some readers assigned automatically.
